We have just carried out a legionella risk assessment for a property in West Lothian. This property had some issues as the cold water tank in the loft had lots of debris, sediment and rust in the the old style tank. The landlord was also surprised at the condition of the tank after the photo we had taken was shown to her. In addition to this there was also dead legs in the property as the property used to have a washing machine however nothing in place for sometime therefore both these situations increasing the risk of legionella in the property.
