Landlord PAT Testing Edinburgh £50

Updated: Jan 25, 2022

We were out and about PAT testing two rental properties in Edinburgh today. One Flat in the city centre and one detached house on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

PAT testing all Landlord owned white goods giving the tenant peace of mind that the equipment is safe to use and satisfying the landlords safety obligations in the property. Visual checks on plugs, cables and fuses and electronic PAT tests carried out testing Earth Continuity and insulation ensuring all landlord owned appliances are safe to use by the tenant. PAT Testing various items some which were class 1 and some that were class 2.

These PAT tests are carried out yearly therefore we should be back next year to ensure the electrical appliance safety once again ! A detailed log of the equipment tested along with a PAT certificate is issued once the work has been carried out.
